Sr Contracts Attorney

Overview

This role is for a Senior Contracts Attorney supporting the Life Sciences Solutions Group within a global scientific organization. The position is fully remote and involves providing high-quality legal guidance and support to various business units including Commercial Operations and Strategic Accounts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Commercial Operations, Strategic Accounts, and cross-functional teams such as Product Management, IP, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, Risk Management, Operations, and Legal Centers of Excellence.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial and intellectual property agreements.
• Analyze legal rights and obligations related to contracts.
• Develop new contractual documents.
• Deliver legal training programs to internal clients.
• Facilitate business transactions and contract negotiations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree; preferred field of study is Law.
• Active bar membership or legal practice qualification in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Strong commercial contracts legal experience, preferably including in-house experience in life sciences or regulated-sector companies.
• Proven expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial and intellectual property agreements.
• Experience advising on legal consequences of contract terms and performing legal rights analysis.
• Ability to resolve problems of diverse scope and moderate to high complexity.
• Demonstrated success in collaboration, negotiation, and organizational change.
• Experience with contract lifecycle management systems is preferred.
• Excellent relationship-building skills internally and externally.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and related electronic tools.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate global colleagues.

Work Schedule

• Standard Monday to Friday schedule.

Environmental Conditions

• Office-based work environment (fully remote position).
