Staff Attorneys – Remote (California Travel Required)

Overview

Location: California/Remote with Travel for Hearings Required

This role involves joining the National Discovery Counsel team as a Staff Attorney. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in California Breach of Warranty law, with a focus on automotive-related litigation.

Responsibilities

• Defend corporate depositions
• Handle discovery-related motions to compel
• Manage discovery matters across multi-jurisdiction dockets within California state courts (experience managing large dockets across multiple jurisdictions is preferred)
• Produce high-quality written work and advocacy under tight deadlines
• Maintain strong attention to detail throughout litigation and discovery activities

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in California Breach of Warranty law
• Admission to the California Bar is required
• Strong writing and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to work remotely within California, with travel required as needed to attend court hearings

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automotive-related litigation
• Experience managing large dockets across multiple jurisdictions within California state courts
• Collaborative experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Likely salary range: $145,000 - $175,000
• Exact compensation will vary based on years of practice, experience, and skill level
