Transactional Attorney – Remote (Worldwide)

Overview

This fully remote contractor role is open to candidates based in 55 countries, including United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, India, France, Netherlands, and Singapore.

Pay: $90–$130/hr

Position: Transactional Attorney

Job Summary:
The role involves reviewing, assessing, and contributing to contract redlining workflows used to train and evaluate advanced AI models. Work will help improve how AI systems identify risk and interpret contract language to support tools with improved precision and legal judgment—particularly in the technology sector.

Responsibilities

• Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
• Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing expert feedback to improve model performance and output precision.
• Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria to assess AI performance on contract tasks with rigor and consistency.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of in-house experience focused on technology transactions, particularly negotiating MSAs, NDAs, ISDA's and Derivatives.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to translate legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
• Demonstrated commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
• Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior exposure to AI, legal tech, or training initiatives.
• Experience at a corporate law firm in either M&A or fund formation for private equity firms.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $90–$130/hr
• Compensation is task-based (experts are paid per completed task that meets project specifications).
• Average handling time (AHT): approximately 3.5 hours per task.
• Effective hourly rate depends on the number of tasks completed and successfully signed off.
