Virtual Employment Counsel

Overview

An organization is seeking experienced employment attorneys with 7+ years of experience to join their Virtual Office as Employment Counsel. This remote position is suited for litigators who want to maintain a full-cycle employment litigation practice while enjoying greater flexibility and no business development pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage employment law matters from intake through resolution
• Develop and execute litigation and case strategies
• Draft, review, and oversee pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses
• Represent clients at hearings, conferences, mediations, and trials
• Collaborate with partners and litigation teams
• Supervise junior attorneys and work closely with paralegals and shared secretarial support

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment law and litigation
• Active bar membership in good standing
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in employment litigation
• Experience handling administrative charges, attorney demand letters, and single-plaintiff employment litigation
• Familiarity with Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI) matters
