Associate Attorney - Employment

Overview

A well-established civil litigation firm with over 150 attorneys across the Southeast is seeking an Associate Attorney to join a high-performing team in the Jacksonville office. This role focuses on employment law matters and is ideal for an attorney with strong writing skills who is ready to take ownership of cases and develop litigation expertise. Remote candidates based in Florida will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Draft discovery requests, motions, and other legal documents
• Conduct document review and case triage
• Participate in depositions early in the role
• Manage deadlines and adhere to established processes and training protocols

Requirements

• 2-3 years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for employment litigation background
• Excellent writing skills
• Strong time management skills with the ability to handle competing projects and deadlines
• Personal accountability and confidence to handle depositions and hearings
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to a collaborative team environment
