Bilingual Personal Injury Case Manager - Law Firm

Overview

The organization is seeking an experienced, bilingual Legal Case Manager to support a fast-paced California Personal Injury practice. This role manages personal injury matters from intake through pre-litigation settlement or transfer, including coordination of medical treatment and lien management.

Responsibilities

• Case Management: Manage personal injury files from inception through pre-litigation settlement or transfer, ensuring strict deadlines and consistent client communication.
• Claims & Property Damage: Open insurance claims, report claims to carriers, and assist clients with property damage resolution.
• Medical Coordination & Records: Coordinate ongoing client medical care, track treatment milestones, and manage complete medical records and billing requests.
• Lien Management: Open and track medical liens with healthcare providers, health insurance companies, and statutory lienholders.
• File Maintenance: Maintain organized digital files and update client records within case management software.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of dedicated experience as a Case Manager (not administrative assistant or receptionist) in a California-based Personal Injury law firm.
• Language Skills: English proficiency required; bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
• Skills: Excellent communication, proactive problem-solving, strong organizational skills, and high attention to detail in high-volume settings.
• Time Zone/Hours: Ability to work full-time during standard Pacific Time hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST).

Preferred Qualifications

• Software: Hands-on experience with Filevine is highly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• Position Type: Full-time contractor position (40 hours per week).
• Starting Pay Rate: $6 per hour, depending on skillset and experience.
