CA-Barred Remote Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

Overview

A legal organization is seeking a California-barred Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to manage a diverse caseload and handle all aspects of personal injury litigation. This remote position requires travel throughout California for trial appearances and offers an opportunity to work closely with a support team while advocating for clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 45-50 personal injury cases, including slip and fall, car accidents, and medical malpractice
• Oversee cases from inception through resolution with strong organizational skills
• Conduct depositions and prepare thoroughly for trials
• Travel across California for trial appearances
• Collaborate with a paralegal and case manager to support case progression
• Negotiate settlements to secure favorable outcomes for clients

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in California
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation; preference for 15-20 years
• Proven ability to independently manage cases from start to finish
• Experience taking and defending depositions, including liability depositions
• Essential trial preparation experience
• State and federal court experience preferred
• Trial experience strongly preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $175,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience
