Civil Litigation Attorneys

Overview

This role involves civil litigation defense work in the South Jersey office. The employer has immediate openings for Civil Litigation Attorneys with at least 3 years of experience, and welcomes candidates at all experience levels.

Practice areas may include:

• Products Liability
• General Liability
• Complex Commercial
• Construction
• Professional Liability

Trial experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation matters with minimal supervision as a self-starter
• Support defense strategy and case development
• Conduct legal research and prepare written work product
• Participate in persuasive oral advocacy, including hearings, depositions, and trials (as applicable)
• Collaborate effectively as a driven team player

Requirements

• Licensed and admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey (a plus for Pennsylvania)
• Strong academic background
• Proven legal research skills
• Excellent litigation and writing skills
• Strong persuasive speaking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Trial experience (preferred, not required)
• Experience across one or more of the practice areas listed above

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is competitive and tailored to the individual, and may vary based on experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market.

Current national base salary ranges:

• Associates (approximately 1–6+ years): $100,000–$165,000
• Senior Counsel/Of Counsel (approximately 5 years or more): $140,000–$215,000
• Partners (approximately 7 years or more): $190,000–$275,000+

Pay range listed for the position:

• USD $100,000.00 - USD $275,000.00 /Yr.
