Commercial Real Estate Lawyer - Philadelphia

Overview

A legal services organization is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Attorney based in Philadelphia with strong energy sector experience. This role involves working with major corporate clients across various industries to address complex legal challenges related to commercial real estate.

Responsibilities

• Advise corporate clients directly on commercial real estate matters
• Draft and negotiate real estate finance documents
• Support internal client teams on real estate transactions
• Maintain collaborative relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of significant transactional experience, preferably in-house
• Expertise in complex commercial real estate including finance, leasing, acquisitions, and sales
• Experience with leasing, purchases and sales, REITs, residential property, property management, and landlord/tenant disputes
• Industry experience preferred in retail, restaurant/hospitality, industrial, and energy sectors
• Preferred experience with retail real estate and commercial properties
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally on complex projects
• Junior to mid-level lawyers with energy exposure are encouraged to apply
• Experience with construction agreements is a plus
• Active bar license in good standing in the state of residence
