Consumer Litigation Counsel (Remote)

Overview

This role is for a Consumer Litigation Counsel with single plaintiff litigation experience. Experience with Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) litigation is valued. General Litigation and/or Labor & Employment Litigation experience is preferred.

This is a remote position. Depending on location, you may have the ability to come into a local office.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume single plaintiff consumer litigation matters
• Work directly with opposing counsel
• Draft motions and pleadings
• Negotiate settlements
• Handle court appearances
• Prepare cases for trial
• Provide substantive client contact
• Participate in case strategy and case management

Requirements

• At least 5 years of general litigation experience, preferably single plaintiff work
• FCRA litigation experience and/or other consumer litigation experience preferred
• Top law firm experience, or a combination of law firm and in-house experience
• Strong work ethic with the ability to drive cases to resolution
• Excellent academic credentials
• Analytical skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills
