Document Review Attorney - Creditor Rights Litigation

Overview

The organization is seeking a motivated entry-level Attorney to join its legal recovery team and remotely support a multi-state operation.

Responsibilities

• Review lawsuits and legal pleadings to ensure legal sufficiency and compliance with jurisdictional requirements
• Analyze supporting documentation to determine the viability of legal claims and readiness for suit or judgment
• Send and respond to written correspondence related to case matters, including disputes, settlements, and follow-ups
• Collaborate with legal assistants and court teams to maintain pace with volume-based targets
• Maintain accurate documentation and case tracking in the organization’s internal systems
• Communicate with supervising attorneys as needed regarding case nuances or exceptions

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in civil litigation or collections is helpful but not required
