Contract Attorney

Overview

A legal services organization is seeking contract attorneys to perform residential title reviews for purchase and refinance transactions. This role involves reviewing title searches and related documentation to ensure marketable title, lien priority, and compliance with applicable guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review residential title searches and related documents
• Verify marketable title and lien priority
• Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines
• Complete file reviews independently while meeting agreed delivery timelines
• Manage workload based on availability, performance, and client demand

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in applicable state(s)
• Experience in residential real estate title examination
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Comfortable working independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensed in South Dakota, Wyoming, New Mexico, or Maine (immediate openings)
• Additional capacity being built in Montana, Iowa, Hawaii, Nebraska, Rhode Island, South Carolina, and Vermont
