Overview
This role supports commercial contracting within the Automation & Motion Control (AMC) segment, partnering with Legal and cross-functional business teams (commercial, sales, supply chain, sourcing, finance, operations, and quality). The position owns agreements end-to-end—from intake and drafting through redlining, negotiation, and execution—while providing practical, risk-based guidance.
A significant focus is supporting AMC customers and suppliers serving the data center market, including hyperscalers, data center developers and builders, project and construction managers, OEMs, and engineering partners. These agreements often involve sophisticated counterparties, shifting leverage, and complex risk that must be managed across the full project lifecycle.
This is not a contract administration position. The Contract Specialist independently develops risk allocation and mitigation approaches, exercises judgment on when to hold, trade, or escalate positions, and communicates the broader risk picture to Legal and business leadership.
