Corporate/M&A Junior Associate

Overview

US-based full-time contract role within the Corporate M/A practice group.

This position involves working with a Corporate/M&A partner on a deal-focused practice representing buyers and sellers across a variety of industries, with commercial, practical legal support.

Responsibilities

• Support corporate and M&A transactions as part of a team representing buyers and sellers
• Assist on a range of transaction types, including joint ventures
• Help advise founders and significant investors on transactions
• Contribute to work involving investment managers and wealth management platforms, including spinouts and rollups
• Support matters across related practice areas, including:
  • Investment Management
  • Finance
  • Crypto and fintech
  • Cyber security and data privacy
  • Tax

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in Corporate and M&A/joint ventures law at an AM Law 100 firm
• Experience across a variety of transaction structures, including joint ventures
