Contract Data Privacy Analyst (Contractor) — Remote

This role supports a customer data privacy initiative focused on protecting sensitive information. Responsibilities include reviewing, verifying, and safeguarding personal identifiable information (PII) within transformed datasets to support high-quality inputs for AI systems.

Responsibilities

Conduct spot-checks of transformed datasets to identify and validate proper redaction or anonymization of PII.
Perform detailed document reviews to verify data privacy standards are consistently upheld.
Assess datasets for missed or improperly handled sensitive information and provide clear, actionable feedback.
Document and report discrepancies or observations using provided tools and templates.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in PII review and data privacy.
Experience with document review.
Ability to perform spot checks.
Knowledge of eDiscovery.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong background in contract review, quality assurance, eDiscovery, and compliance processes.
In-depth understanding of Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and data privacy regulations.
Background as a Paralegal, eDiscovery Specialist, Privacy Analyst, Information Governance Specialist, Compliance Manager, or Legal Document Review Lead.
Experience in legal document review, litigation support, or managed legal services.
Proven track record of working with sensitive data in high-stakes environments.
