Expert Opportunity - Legal Counsel ($100/hr, up to $2,000/week)

Overview

A leading foundational AI lab is seeking experienced legal counsel to assist in training their latest language model on professional document, spreadsheet, and slide deck tasks. This role involves creating, evaluating, and refining AI-generated materials related to core legal workflows.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate commercial agreements
• Create and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks
• Support workflows including commercial contract redlines, due-diligence issue lists and memos, clause-risk analyses, NDA and vendor-agreement review
• Prepare negotiation position summaries
• Manage obligation and renewal trackers

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a transactional attorney or contracts manager reviewing commercial agreements
• Direct ownership of redlining, negotiating, or diligence-reviewing contracts
• Expert-level skills in document, spreadsheet, and slide creation
• Excellent written communication and strong attention to detail

Compensation & Commitment

• Hourly rate: $100
• Flexible commitment: 5-20 hours per week (or more if desired)
• Fully remote position with flexible scheduling
• Start date: ASAP
