Expert Opportunity - Legal Counsel ($100/hr, up to $2,000/week)

Overview

This role involves supporting a leading foundational AI lab by providing legal counsel to help train a language model on professional document, spreadsheet, and slide deck tasks.

Work includes creating, evaluating, and refining AI-generated materials across core workflows such as:

• Commercial contract redlines
• Due-diligence issue lists and memos
• Clause-risk analyses
• NDA and vendor-agreement review
• Negotiation position summaries
• Obligation and renewal trackers

Responsibilities

• Review and contribute to guidance for AI-generated outputs related to commercial contract workflows
• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks
• Provide direct support in areas including:
  • Contract redlining
  • Negotiation
  • Due-diligence review
  • Clause-risk analysis
  • NDA and vendor-agreement review
  • Negotiation position summaries
  • Obligation and renewal tracking

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a transactional attorney or contracts manager reviewing commercial agreements
• Direct ownership of redlining, negotiating, or diligence-reviewing contracts
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with strong written communication and attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits

• $100/hour

• Flexible scheduling: 5–20 hours per week (or more if desired)
