Expert Opportunity – Regulatory Lawyer ($225/hr, up to $4.5k/week)

Overview

A leading foundational AI lab is seeking experienced regulatory lawyers to assist in training their latest language model on compliance and government affairs tasks. This role involves evaluating and refining AI-generated work related to regulatory matters.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated content across various regulatory tasks, including:
  • Agency comment letters
  • Compliance memoranda
  • Regulatory risk assessments
  • Policy analysis
• Assess the accuracy and depth of AI-generated work in capturing the complexity of administrative law.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory law, administrative law, or government affairs, preferably at a top law firm or government agency.
• Exposure to regulatory agencies such as the FTC, FDA, SEC, FERC, or FCC is highly desirable.
• Strong familiarity with rulemaking processes, agency enforcement, and federal or state compliance frameworks.
• Excellent written communication and policy analysis skills.

Compensation & Commitment

• Hourly rate: $225
• Flexible commitment of up to 20 hours per week (maximum $4,500 per week)
• Fully remote position with the ability to work on your own schedule
• Expected start date: March
