Innovation Attorney (Tech, IP, Privacy)

Overview

This role supports a leading global law firm seeking an AI & Innovation Attorney to work at the intersection of law, technology, and innovation. The position is focused on shaping how AI and emerging technologies transform practice standards by translating substantive expertise into scalable tools used by lawyers and clients across the firm.

Location

Remote (no in-office requirement) — must be within commuting distance of one of the firm’s U.S. offices.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and prototype AI-assisted research, drafting, and contract analysis solutions.
• Design custom prompt libraries, document automation systems, and tech-enabled legal workflows.
• Modernize technology-sector knowledge infrastructure, precedent materials, and practice guides.
• Lead interactive training programs to drive adoption of emerging knowledge systems and AI tools.

Requirements

• 4+ years of substantive experience specifically in a technology-focused legal practice.
• Hands-on personal or professional experience with coding, technology building, or workflow design.

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation range: $250,000 – $290,000 plus bonus potential.
