Insurance Coverage Associate (5 yrs of experience) - OC

Overview

This role is for an experienced attorney with 5 years of insurance coverage experience and an active California bar license to join the insurance coverage practice. The position offers flexibility to work from any state in the U.S., either fully remote or hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex insurance coverage litigation and manage multiple cases from intake through settlement or trial
• Develop and implement litigation strategies and budgets
• Conduct and defend depositions and argue dispositive motions
• Provide strategic legal advice in business, professional liability, and employment disputes
• Negotiate and draft settlement agreements
• Assist with marketing and business development efforts to drive firm growth and strengthen client relationships

Requirements

• Active California bar license (Required)
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• 5 years of insurance coverage experience (Required)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional writing, organizational, and advocacy skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary commensurate with experience: $170,000—$180,000 USD
