Intellectual Property Litigation Associate

Overview

A national law firm with multiple locations across the United States is seeking an Intellectual Property Litigation Associate with three to seven years of experience. This role requires patent litigation experience and is ideal for candidates with a background in electrical engineering, computer science, or artificial intelligence. The position primarily supports attorneys in the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit.

Responsibilities

• Handle patent litigation matters
• Collaborate with attorneys in the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation sector
• Manage multiple projects effectively under pressure
• Articulate legal strategies and courses of action clearly

Requirements

• Three to seven years of patent litigation experience
• Background in electrical engineering, computer science, or artificial intelligence preferred
• Excellent academic credentials
• Active bar license in the state of residence or commitment to obtain one promptly
• Superior interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work well under pressure
• Exceptional judgment and proactive, dynamic, entrepreneurial approach

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary with a range of $215,000 to $260,000 for positions in California, Chicago, Colorado, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, DC, commensurate with qualifications and experience
• Salaries in other markets vary based on market data
• Eligibility for Associate Performance Bonus and Client Development Bonus
