Intellectual Property Senior Counsel

Overview

A national law firm with multiple U.S. locations is seeking an Intellectual Property Senior Counsel with a minimum of eight years of experience. Candidates may be considered for any office location, including virtual work options.

Responsibilities

• Provide intellectual property legal counsel primarily within the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit.
• Manage multiple projects effectively and articulate legal strategies and courses of action.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and clients, demonstrating exceptional judgment and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• Minimum of eight years of relevant experience.
• Degree in Computer Software, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Active bar license in the state of residence or commitment to obtain one promptly.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary with a range of $190,000 to $240,000 in certain states (California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C.), commensurate with qualifications and experience.
• Salaries in other markets vary based on market data.
