Junior Attorney (Remote Litigation) — Iowa | $75k–$110k + Bonus

Overview

Remote-first role with local court appearances as needed, based in Iowa City.

This position is for a Junior Attorney (0–3 years experience) handling criminal defense, family law, and civil litigation matters in Iowa. The role includes hands-on mentorship and training from experienced attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and gradually take ownership of cases in criminal, family, and civil matters
• Attend court with guidance and support
• Draft pleadings, communicate with clients, and build litigation skills
• Grow into independent case management

Requirements

• Licensed in Iowa or awaiting bar results
• Interest in litigation (criminal, family, or civil)
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good communication and organizational skills

Compensation & Benefits

• $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year, depending on experience and workload
