Law Enforcement Response Analyst (100% Remote)

Overview

A financial services and digital payments company based in San Francisco, California, is seeking a highly motivated Law Enforcement Response Analyst on a contract basis. This role is fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Review, index, and process legal requests from domestic and international law enforcement agencies and civil subpoenas
• Evaluate legal requests to ensure compliance with applicable laws, terms of service, and privacy guidelines
• Communicate with law enforcement agencies by phone and in writing to coordinate responses
• Develop, document, and implement scalable policies and procedures
• Provide operational support to legal and investigative teams
• Partner with Compliance, Legal, Trust & Safety, Information Security, and other cross-functional teams
• Maintain quality standards while managing high volumes of time-sensitive legal requests
• Support process improvement initiatives across internal teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 1-3 years of experience as a Law Enforcement Response Analyst
• Experience reviewing and processing legal requests or subpoenas
• Ability to accurately analyze lengthy legal documents
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with external agencies and stakeholders
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on process improvements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Demonstrated initiative and a track record of exceeding expectations
