Legal Intake Advisor (Fast Growing Start Up) - United States

Overview

• Remote: Fully remote
• The organization provides accessible, innovative legal solutions for startups and small businesses. It is expanding its operations into the United States, following successful establishment in Australia and the UK.
• This role is central to establishing and growing the organization’s US presence by converting inbound inquiries into clients and shaping the customer journey and sales strategy in a new region.

Responsibilities

• Respond to new customer inquiries via phone, email, and text
• Engage with founders and business owners to identify their legal needs
• Scope appropriate services using commercial and legal knowledge
• Explain the organization’s legal service model to prospective clients
• Prepare detailed briefs for the US legal team
• Manage sales opportunities through follow-up and relationship building
• Use sales strategies to convert inquiries into paying clients
• Collaborate with the legal team to ensure accurate scoping of matters
• Help refine and improve the US customer journey
• Participate in partnerships, business development, events, and sales strategy initiatives

Requirements

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Genuine interest in sales and customer engagement
• Commercial acumen to understand business needs
• Ability to simplify and clearly explain legal concepts
• Confidence and judgment in managing client interactions
• Strong organizational skills to handle high inquiry volume
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
• Comfort with technology, CRMs, and sales processes
• Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for building new operations
• Experience in legal services, professional services, startups, or B2B sales preferred
• Legal background highly desirable but not mandatory

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $50,000 USD
• Commission: up to $20,000
