Legal Recruiter (Attorney Recruiting Exp Req) - Remote

Overview

A well-established law firm located in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Legal Recruiter with attorney recruiting experience. This is a full-time remote position reporting to the Director of Recruiting. The role involves managing the full-cycle recruitment process for lateral attorneys, paralegals, law clerks, and interns. The position offers a salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 DOE, plus bonus potential and benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, and paid holidays. Sponsorship is not available. The start date is ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting strategy to maintain a healthy pipeline of legal candidates
• Manage pipeline metrics and sourcing strategies in anticipation of growth
• Own year-round recruiting efforts for lateral attorneys, paralegals, law clerks, and interns
• Build referral relationships through professional networks, trade associations, and law schools
• Lead the summer associate program and maintain relationships with top law schools and universities
• Ensure a smooth candidate experience throughout hiring and onboarding processes
• Conduct quarterly staffing analyses and create actionable roadmaps and projections
• Facilitate kickoff meetings with hiring managers to align on timing and expectations
• Create and manage job postings across multiple platforms with a direct outreach approach
• Screen candidates and manage them through a high-quality assessment process
• Schedule and support the full interview process and provide candidate packages to hiring teams
• Drive timely decisions and adherence to standards; coordinate offers and background checks
• Facilitate onboarding support, guide new hires, and make introductions
• Monitor early progress, gather feedback, and address any friction points
• Optimize AI and technology tools to improve the full-cycle recruiting process
• Manage the firm’s culture program, including planning and overseeing employee engagement events and surveys

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of lateral attorney recruiting experience
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships
• Experience onboarding and supporting new hires
• Experience using AI tools within the recruiting process
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
