Litigation Attorney Cedar Rapids (Remote except court) - Newly Licensed to 10 yr XP

Overview

A law firm is seeking an attorney to practice family law and civil litigation serving western Illinois and eastern Iowa. This position is open to a wide range of experience levels, including newly licensed attorneys. Mentorship and guidance from more experienced attorneys will be provided as needed. The role is fully remote except for required court appearances.

Responsibilities

• Practice family law and civil litigation cases
• Attend court appearances in western Illinois and eastern Iowa
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff remotely

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Iowa (Iowa licensure required)
• Dual licensure is a significant plus

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $75,000 to $150,000 annually, based on experience and production
• Employer covers 50% of health insurance premiums
• 3% employer contribution to 401(k) plan after the first year
• 15 days of paid time off (PTO)
