Litigation Attorney - Remote in Georgia

Overview

The organization is seeking an experienced Plaintiff-Side Litigation Attorney to join its team. This position is well suited for an attorney with experience handling first-party property insurance litigation, comfortable managing cases throughout the litigation process, and working closely with clients, attorneys, and legal support teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage plaintiff-side litigation matters from pre-suit through litigation and resolution
• Handle discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation
• Independently manage an active caseload
• Conduct legal research and prepare written work product
• Communicate professionally and clearly with clients and colleagues
• Ensure consistent case management with strong organizational and attention-to-detail practices

Requirements

• Active membership in good standing with the Georgia Bar (required)
• Experience with first-party property insurance litigation
• Experience managing cases from pre-suit through litigation and resolution
• Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability to independently manage an active caseload
• Professional, clear, and effective communication with clients and colleagues
• Commitment to professional and ethical standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar (preferred, but not required)
• Admission to additional state bars is a plus
