MA-Barred Business Litigation Attorney (Remote)

Overview

A prestigious boutique law firm in Boston, MA is seeking a Business Litigation Attorney with at least 4 years of civil defense litigation experience, preferably specializing in business litigation. This is a remote position; however, candidates should reside near Boston to attend court appearances and depositions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle business litigation cases in a civil defense capacity
• Attend court appearances and depositions as required
• Provide written and oral advocacy in a fast-paced legal environment

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of business litigation experience, preferably at a large law firm
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in Massachusetts
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to thrive in a professional, fast-paced law firm setting

Position Details

• Role Type: Engagement or Engagement to Permanent
• Schedule: Flexible; part-time or full-time considered
• Location: Remote, with residence near Boston, MA required

Compensation & Benefits

• Annualized pay ranges from $150,000 to $200,000 or more on a full-time basis
• Contract pay rates depend on experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market factors, and candidate preferences
