No-Fault Personal Injury Protection Attorney

Overview

A national law firm with multiple U.S. locations is seeking a No-Fault Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Attorney with a minimum of two years of experience, preferably with New York No-Fault PIP law. This position is based in a virtual office setting and involves working primarily with attorneys in the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit.

Responsibilities

• Analyze medical records, bills, fee disputes, priority of payment, coverage exhaustion, and other legal issues related to PIP claims
• Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, motions for summary judgment, and other dispositive motions
• Appear at arbitrations, court conferences, and hearings as necessary

Requirements

• Active New York bar license
• Residence in or around New York City to attend necessary legal proceedings
• Minimum of two years of experience with New York No-Fault PIP law preferred
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well under pressure
• Exceptional judgment and ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action effectively

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $145,000 - $155,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience

Location

• Virtual office with requirement to appear in person in New York City area for legal proceedings as needed
