Paralegal

Overview

This role is for a Paralegal position in the Atlanta location, with eligibility for remote work.

The organization is a civil litigation firm with a team of over 150 attorneys across the Southeast.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorney(s) in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions
• Draft legal documents such as subpoenas and pleadings
• Assist in case analysis while meeting all applicable deadlines
• Perform e-filing with both State and Federal Courts
• Summarize medical and billing records
• Summarize depositions and help manage cases from inception to completion

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a litigation team
• Excellent organization skills, detail-oriented
• Ability to operate well under pressure with minimal supervision
• Highly motivated
