A national law practice is seeking experienced attorneys to join its growing distributed team. This top-tier firm was founded by Silicon Valley founders and general counsels to offer an alternative to traditional private practice by leveraging technology and a distributed structure. The firm serves clients across Corporate, Fintech, Intellectual Property, Real Estate, and Litigation practice areas, with a focus on early-stage, venture-backed companies.

How the Firm Operates

Attorneys are compensated based on a percentage of fees collected from their clients rather than a salary. Unlike traditional law firms where attorneys typically receive about one-third of the value they generate, attorneys here earn a combination of collected origination and matter responsible fees.

Who They Are Seeking

The firm is looking for excellent attorneys at various levels:

• Association as Counsel: Attorneys from senior in-house positions without a demonstrable book of business are welcome to apply. However, applicants must identify at least one anchor client and present a clear business development plan.
• Partnership: Candidates for lateral partnership should demonstrate a significant transferable book of originations. Those with less experience may apply for counsel positions.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience at an AmLaw 100 law firm or in-house with a reputable company.
• Graduation from a top-tier law school or demonstrated excellent and sustained reputation in the industry.
• Eligibility to work in the United States, with verification required upon hire.
