Patent Agent

Overview

The organization is seeking a Patent Agent to join its Intellectual Property practice group, focused on Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

This position may be remote in any state in which the organization has an office.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide range of work, including patent preparation and prosecution
• Support portfolio management
• Perform strategic analysis
• Provide opinion work
• Maintain significant client contact

Requirements

• Experience in networking, virtual networking, and cloud computing
• Experience in telecommunications; experience with 3GPP standards is particularly preferred
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Strong academic credentials and excellent research
• USPTO registration
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. and/or industry experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: Up to $125k
