Patent Agent

Overview

The organization is seeking a Patent Agent in the Computer Science or Computer Engineering field to join its growing Intellectual Property practice group. This position may be remote in any state in which the employer has an office.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of work, including patent preparation and prosecution
• Support portfolio management
• Conduct strategic analysis and opinion work
• Provide significant client contact

Requirements

• Experience in networking, virtual networking, and cloud computing
• Experience in telecommunications, particularly 3GPP standards
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Academic credentials and excellent research skills
• USPTO registration
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. and/or industry experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: Up to 125k

Location

Remote in any state in which the employer has an office.
