Peoria Family Law/Civil Litigation Paralegal

Overview

A law office with a focus on family law, probate, and civil litigation is seeking a full-time experienced paralegal to join their support staff. The team is established, energetic, and dynamic, working across several areas of law.

Responsibilities

• Provide paralegal support primarily in family law and civil litigation matters
• Complete assignments in a timely manner
• Adapt to new skill sets and learn quickly
• Collaborate effectively with attorneys and other staff

Requirements

• Prior paralegal experience
• Paralegal certificate required
• Highly organized, responsive, and reliable
• Ability to work well with others

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $45,000 to $55,000 per year, depending on experience and billable expectations
• Production-based bonuses available

• 401(k) participation after one year with 3% employer contribution
• 10 days of vacation and 5 days of sick time accruing annually

Schedule & Location

• Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Position is remote but based in Peoria, IL
