Product Counsel (REMOTE)

Overview

A Software & IT company is seeking a lawyer with over 5 years of experience in Product and Privacy law for a 6-month engagement starting mid-June 2026. This role involves providing leave coverage for an existing product/privacy attorney and reporting to the Deputy General Counsel (DGC).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for two business units, primarily advising on privacy matters.
• Handle some consumer protection work related to subscription services.
• Support the legal needs of the company’s product and privacy teams during the leave period.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience focused on Product and Privacy.
• Experience working with business-to-consumer (B2C) companies.
• Ability to manage multiple business units and provide clear legal guidance.
