Overview

The organization is hiring a full-time, remote Spanish- and English-speaking attorney. The role supports work in an office location in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This position requires excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

The attorney will represent individuals in Immigration Court and before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). No prior immigration experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Deportation defense and representation in Immigration Court
• Representation and support before USCIS
• Handle matters including:
  • Work permits
  • Marriage visas
  • Family visas
  • Permanent residence
  • Citizenship
  • DACA
  • Special Immigrant Juvenile Status
  • Waivers
  • U-Visas
  • T-Visas
  • Wava
  • Asylum
  • Appeals

Requirements

• Must be licensed in any jurisdiction in the United States
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Spanish- and English-speaking ability
