Senior Attorney

Overview

This role offers an opportunity to advance your career as a Washington and Oregon-licensed lawyer within the insurance defense practice. The position focuses on working collaboratively with partner-level attorneys and supporting case work across a range of insurance defense matters.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partner-level attorneys on all aspects of litigation, including:
  • Preparing for and conducting depositions
  • Motion practice
  • Oral arguments
  • Settlement negotiations
• Support customer service–related case items such as reporting.

Requirements

• Licensed lawyer with 7+ years’ experience.
• At least 5 years licensed in Washington and Oregon.
• Insurance defense experience preferred (at least 1 year).

Preferred Experience Areas

Experience in one or more of the following insurance defense lines of business:

• Bodily injury defense
• Construction defect
• Professional liability
• Environmental
• General liability
• Transportation
• Employment
• Other insurance defense lines of business
