This role is a client-facing advisory position focused on helping law firm library and research departments derive real value from AI. You will collaborate with research leaders, librarians, and practice teams to understand current workflows, identify where AI can make a meaningful difference, and support the design, testing, and adoption of AI-enabled research workflows that lawyers can trust.

A major part of the work involves partnering with legal technology and content vendors on their AI offerings—translating vendor capabilities into practical guidance aligned with what clients need. You will also build AI fluency within internal research and intelligence teams so AI-enabled expertise can be applied across client engagements.

  • Design AI-enabled research workflows and agents, pairing each use case with the right tool within the client’s existing AI toolkit
  • Incorporate clear verification and human review steps to ensure AI-assisted research meets professional and risk standards
  • Coordinate testing with client users, gather feedback, and refine workflows before wider rollout
  • Lead client presentations, demos, and workshops, and support proposal and scoping conversations for new enablement work

Vendor Partnership & AI Product Insight

  • Build strong working relationships with legal research and AI vendors, including product, engineering, and client success teams
  • Develop in-depth, hands-on knowledge of vendor AI offerings such as generative AI research assistants, agents, and workflow tools
  • Work with vendors on behalf of clients to clarify roles in workflow build, raise product gaps, and influence roadmap fixes
  • Track and translate vendor product updates into clear, practical guidance for clients and internal teams
  • Represent the organization at vendor briefings, partner programs, and industry events

Training, Adoption & Post-Launch Support

  • Develop and deliver AI training for research teams and lawyers, including live sessions, quick-start guides, how-to videos, and office hours
  • Create repeatable launch playbooks to help clients roll out new AI platforms with confidence
  • Provide ongoing support after go-live, addressing the gap that vendors often leave after initial rollout training
  • Help clients measure adoption and value so they can demonstrate return on AI investments

Building Internal AI Capability

  • Lead AI and platform training for internal research and intelligence teams, from foundational skills to advanced use
  • Develop internal guidance on responsible use of AI tools in client work
  • Capture lessons learned from client engagements and convert them into reusable methods, templates, and service offerings
  • Contribute to thought leadership on AI and the evolving role of research and knowledge teams

Qualifications
