Texas Licensed Labor & Employment Litigation Attorney

Overview

This role is for a Texas licensed attorney with at least four years of labor & employment litigation experience. The position offers hybrid or completely remote work connected to a Houston office of a Texas law firm. Candidates may be considered for contract/engagement work or a permanent position, with either full-time or part-time scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Handle labor & employment litigation matters
• Manage written discovery
• Perform motion work
• Conduct depositions
• Participate in court hearings

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience handling labor & employment litigation matters
• Licensed in Texas
• Excellent communication skills
• Capability and experience to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent academic credentials
• Outstanding references

Compensation & Benefits

• Annualized compensation range (full-time basis): $170,000 to $210,000
• Pay is based on factors including work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.

In addition to salary:

• W2 employees are eligible for full benefits when working 20 hours per week, including a Qualified 401k plan.

• Attorneys receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
