Overview
A law firm is seeking workers' compensation attorneys to join their team across the State of California. This position offers remote and hybrid work options, with California residency not required. The salary range is $100,000 to $220,000, depending on skills, experience, and location.
Responsibilities
- Provide defense counsel services in workers' compensation cases.
- Manage cases from assignment through resolution with a client-focused approach.
- Utilize web-based legal tools in a fully paperless environment.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and partners.
Requirements
- Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
- Minimum of one year of workers' compensation defense experience preferred.
- Experience with Defense Base Act/Longshore & Harbor Workers' Compensation is a plus.
- Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work proactively and responsively to deliver exceptional client service.
- Comfortable working in a paperless, technology-driven environment.
- Demonstrated professionalism and ability to build effective relationships.
