Overview
A law firm is seeking workers' compensation attorneys to join their team throughout the State of California. This position offers remote and hybrid work options, with California residency not required. The salary range is $100,000 to $220,000, depending on skills, experience, and location.
Responsibilities
- Provide defense services in workers' compensation cases.
- Deliver proactive and responsive client service from assignment through resolution.
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to workers' compensation defense.
- Manage cases using web-based legal tools in a fully paperless environment.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and partners.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of workers' compensation defense experience preferred.
- Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
- Experience with Defense Base Act/Longshore & Harbor Workers' Compensation is a plus.
- Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Comfortable working in a paperless environment and using web-based legal applications.
- Demonstrated professionalism and ability to build effective relationships.
