Overview
The organization is seeking Legal Interns for the 2027 Summer Legal Internship.
- Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (remote optional)
- Department: Legal Department
- Employment type: Full- or part-time
- Time commitment: Minimum 10 hours per week
- Compensation: $15 an hour (maximum 20 hours per week)
- Position count: Two interns

Responsibilities
Interns will support legal and litigation work, including:
- Conducting legal and factual research and producing memoranda
- Drafting and submitting open records requests and reviewing produced public records
- Drafting and editing demand letters, motions, and other filings
- Attending staff and litigation team meetings
- Attending court hearings and public meetings
- Performing other tasks assisting with litigation as necessary
Qualifications
- Understanding of the Constitution and civil rights issues
- Commitment to civil rights and the organization’s work
- Excellent organization and writing skills
- Proficiency in SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and Westlaw
Eligibility Requirements
- Open to all law students with a residence in Oklahoma
- Must have completed their 1L year
Compensation & Benefits
- $15 per hour
- Up to 20 hours per week (maximum)
