California Licensed Litigation Attorney (Remote and Contract)

Overview

A law firm with offices throughout California is seeking a California-licensed attorney with at least four years of litigation experience to assist with general and commercial litigation matters. This position is fully remote and offers both permanent and contract engagement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Handle general case workup activities including written discovery, motion work, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation in civil litigation matters

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in California
• Minimum of 4 years of legal experience in litigation
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Outstanding professional references

Compensation & Benefits

• Annualized compensation ranges from $175,000 to $205,000 on a full-time basis, depending on experience, qualifications, credentials, and location
• W2 employment status
• Eligibility for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including a Qualified 401(k) plan
