Contract DOT & FMCSA Filing Specialist

Overview

This is a production-based compliance role focused on completing detailed filing work consistently during working hours. The position requires accuracy, responsiveness, and strict adherence to process in a structured remote environment.

The organization is hiring 3 to 5 remote Contract Compliance Filing Specialists to support seasonal filing volume and ongoing growth within the compliance operations team. This is a full-time contract opportunity with clear daily deliverables and performance measured through KPIs and SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Complete MCS-150 filings accurately and efficiently
• Process UCR filings with attention to deadlines and detail
• Support Drug and Alcohol Testing enrollment and onboarding tasks
• Complete Form 2290 filings
• Assist with other required state and federal compliance forms
• Review client-submitted information for completeness and accuracy
• Identify missing or incorrect information and escalate issues as needed
• Communicate internally regarding issues, escalations, and status updates
• Maintain strong production and quality standards throughout the workday
• Manage multiple client files and priorities in an organized manner
• Use company systems correctly and consistently
• Maintain professionalism when supporting internal teams and, over time, clients directly

Requirements

• Comfortable with repetitive, detailed, deadline-driven work
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment during scheduled hours
• Experience with tracked systems and measurable performance expectations
• Strong written communication skills
• Reliability, consistency, and accountability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in FMCSA compliance, DOT compliance, tax preparation or tax operations, accounting, legal support or legal operations, or government compliance work
• Direct experience with trucking compliance is strongly preferred but not required

Training and Development

• Structured onboarding and development process led by leadership and managers
• Training provided by multiple managers to build a broad understanding of services, internal standards, and client expectations
• Opportunities to grow into Client Success or Compliance Specialist roles based on performance

Compensation and Benefits

• $25 per hour
