IP Operations Systems Specialist

Overview

This remote-first position supports IP Operations through system maintenance, reporting, and ongoing process improvements. The role is focused on candidates in MA, DE, NY, CA, DC, MN, TX, GA, and IL.

Responsibilities

• Maintain IP systems through regular audits, data cleanup, and validation.
• Assist with daily matter opening and staffing updates required by the practice groups.
• Develop and run recurring and ad hoc reports and audits in response to requests made through processes established by department leadership.
• Support initiatives to implement automation to create efficiencies for the IP Operations Team and practice groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in patent or trademark prosecution support services (preferred).
• Demonstrated proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Excel
  • IP docketing/management systems
  • Document management systems

Preferred Qualifications

• MS SQL skills

Estimated starting pay (based on a 35-hour workweek):

• Boston, New York, San Diego, and Silicon Valley: $37.36 - $46.70 per hour (equivalent to $68,000 - $85,000 annually)

Estimated starting pay (based on a 37.5-hour workweek):

• Chicago, Minneapolis, and Washington, D.C.: $34.87 - $43.59 per hour (equivalent to $68,000 - $85,000 annually)
