Lien Negotiator

Overview

• Fully remote position
• Role focused on negotiating post-settlement liens to help maximize client recoveries and support efficient case finalization.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate post-settlement liens, including liens related to health insurance, hospitals, private medical providers, and state and federal medical provider liens
• Finalize cases to secure the best possible recovery for clients
• Provide regular updates to clients on case progress
• Send status updates to medical providers
• Draft lien reduction letters
• Obtain final medical balances at settlement
• Assemble, organize, and itemize client medical bills
• Communicate with Medi-Cal and Medicare programs

Requirements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Maintain a professional demeanor in all communications
• Ability to meet deadlines and quotas
• Capable of multitasking effectively
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Knowledge of Internet software, spreadsheet, and word processing software

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $24.00/hour to $28.00/hour
