FL Defense Litigation Attorney (Permanent)

Overview

This role is for a Florida-licensed attorney to join a national boutique defense litigation law firm. The position requires at least 5 years of insurance defense litigation experience, with a focus on personal injury and premises liability.

This is a fully remote position, with court appearances as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda of law, discovery requests and responses, and legal correspondence
• Handle all aspects of discovery
• Research legal issues efficiently and competently
• Communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, with colleagues and clients

Requirements

• 5+ years of litigation experience at a personal injury defense law firm
• Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Outstanding references

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $135,000 to $150,000
• Eligible for bonuses and equity compensation
• Pay is based on multiple factors, including work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location
