In-House Corporate Counsel

Overview

The organization is seeking an experienced corporate attorney to join the legal department of a large North American logistics company. This is a permanent, full-time role with a remote work arrangement.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience structuring, drafting, negotiating, and revising a broad range of commercial agreements, including:

• procurement and vendor agreements
• technology and software licensing
• marketing and sponsorship agreements
• supply and logistics agreements
• professional and consulting services agreements
• customer-facing sales agreements

Prior experience working at a large corporate law firm and/or a large corporate legal department is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Structure, draft, negotiate, and revise a broad range of complex commercial agreements
• Analyze contractual terms and advise stakeholders on legal and business implications
• Manage contracting workflows to support commercial and operational needs

Requirements

• 7+ years of commercial contracts experience
• Demonstrated ability to draft, negotiate, and analyze a wide range of complex commercial agreements
• Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school
• Outstanding references
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in state of residence

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $180,000 to $220,000
• Eligible for bonuses
• Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location
