M&A Attorney, Part-Time AI Contract Review - Remote (United States)

Overview

This part-time, fully remote role focuses on reviewing and evaluating legal AI outputs using M&A expertise. Work is paid per accepted task and supports the development of legal AI systems trained with scenarios and feedback from practicing professionals.

• Compensation: $90–$130 per hour equivalent (paid per accepted task)
• Schedule: Part-time, fully flexible
• Location: Fully remote, United States

Responsibilities

• Review asset purchase and stock purchase agreement scenarios for contract issues and deal risk
• Run simulated negotiations and redline transaction agreements
• Assess AI-written legal answers for correctness, risk spotting, and sound legal judgment
• Create objective grading criteria for contract review and provide clear feedback to teams improving the system

Requirements

• J.D. earned at an ABA-accredited law school
• Active bar admission in one or more U.S. jurisdictions
• At least two years in a corporate law firm’s M&A department
• Fluent English with clear and effective written and verbal communication
• No AI experience required; experience is applied through reviewing examples, writing legal feedback, and explaining decisions
